Are Your Meetings Ready for The Next Normal? Part 5: Cleaner Air is Healthier Air

As new technology rises to the challenge of defeating COVID-19, we encourage our clients and vendor partners to explore not only how to keep their own workplaces healthy, but to also hold meeting venues, airlines, and car services accountable for the quality of their recirculated air.

Today we have successfully completed the installation of a bi-polar ionization HVAC unit at the Summit Management corporate headquarters located in the Glass Building at 579 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove, NJ.

The system is designed to help combat COVID-19 as a mitigation tool.  All air from the HVAC units flows over the devices whether we are using heat or air conditioning.  The process has been around since the 2003 SARS crisis and is used in hospitals on other viruses and has been certified to work for COVID-19

Earlier this summer, we installed the same unit into a separate rental property and we are confident that we are helping to keep the air clean and safe in both the rental property and in our office building.

Within our building, we will still maintain social distancing standards and use other precautionary methods as recommended by the CDC.  Summit has remained open since the outbreak began and will continue doing so.  In the meantime, test negative and stay positive

Bi-polar ionization technology utilizes the same air purification process found in nature. By releasing positive (+) and negative (-) ions into an indoor air environment, AtmosAir systems clean and restore the air to the near-pristine qualities found in nature’s highest elevations. COVID-19 is one of seven types of known human coronaviruses - a family of viruses that can cause respiratory illness in people. Like other viruses, COVID-19 is carried on respiratory droplets when we talk, sneeze, and cough. These droplets land on our skin, surfaces, clothing and some remain airborne for a period of time. This technology has shown significant reduction of viruses in both laboratory and in-field testing. The continuous application of bi-polar ions emitted to ambient air by the ionization system continuously disinfect both
